is a city located in Hyōgo Prefecture, Japan. The city was founded on April 1, 1951.
On October 1, 2005, the towns of Ibogawa, Mitsu and Shingū (all from Ibo District) were merged into Tatsuno. To reflect the new character of the city, the kanji characters in the city's name were changed from to .
As of April 30, 2011, the city has an estimated population of 81,087, with 29,212 households and a population density of 384.43 persons per km². The total area is 210.93 km².
==Famous people==
Miki Rofu, composer of the folk melody "Akatonbo" (The red dragonfly) and Fumito Ueda, director of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus were born in Tatsuno.
